The program was initiated in response to the devastating floods caused by heavy monsoon rains in 2022, which wreaked havoc on the Tank and Dera Ismail Khan Districts of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa. In this critical time, MWA swiftly mobilized volunteers and resources and collaborated with the Mahsud community residing in various regions, including the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, Karachi, and other parts of the country. Together, we undertook rescue operations and efficiently distributed essential provisions such as food and clean drinking water. The efforts extended beyond immediate relief and vital assistance in the form of cash support and tents was provided to 300 deserving families who had been severely impacted by the floods.
