MWA's commitment extends beyond education to encompass a wide range of sectors, including vital initiatives such as afforestation. The Green Waziristan project, initiated by MWA's agriculture team, stands as a significant stride towards environmental sustainability and community development. In collaboration with the KPK Agriculture Department, MWA orchestrated the acquisition of more than 18,000 fruit plants, which included 2,000 grafted wild olive plants. Under the guidance of a dedicated supervisor, a team of professionals executed the grafting process, effectively enhancing the olive crop's productivity in the central regions of South Waziristan. The Green Waziristan Plantation Drive not only contributes to the enrichment of the local ecosystem but also plays a vital role in educating and empowering the community to actively engage in environmental conservation and economic development.
