From Tent School to Waziristan Education City

The W.E.C. project began humbly, with classes being held in a tent. Despite the challenging circumstances, MWA was determined to provide quality education to the children of South Waziristan. Over time, the school moved to a rented building, thanks to the dedication and hard work of MWA and the support of the Khubaib Foundation Pakistan.

Today, MWA is constructing a permanent building for the school on land generously donated by Mr. Ahmad Khan Mahsud, a local businessman who shares MWA's vision of improving education in the region. This new facility is not just a school; it represents the foundation of the Waziristan Education City, a dream project that MWA envisions as a beacon of hope and learning for future generations.

However, the journey is far from over. While the construction of the building is ongoing, MWA needs financial and in-kind support to bring this vision to fruition. The completion of the Waziristan Education City will require additional resources to provide the infrastructure, materials, and services necessary to offer a high-quality education to all students, particularly girls, who have been historically underserved in this region.
